The World Axe Throwing Professional League (WATL Pro League) has announced its top competitors for the 2023 season, recognizing the best in the sport of standard hatchet throwing. The top 24 Pros, based on leaderboard position, will earn a bid to the 2023 World Axe Throwing Championship (WATC). Some of the notable names include Brandon Holt, Dustin Wellman, Mark Nolasco, Shaun Daniels, and Bryan Cox, among others.
Tulsa, Oklahoma will host the World Axe and Knife Throwing Championships in April 2024, featuring over 375 top-tier throwers from around the globe competing for a $60,000 prize pool. The event, organized in partnership with the World Axe Throwing League and the World Knife Throwing League, will be held at the brand-new WeStreet Ice Center and broadcast live on ESPN.
