The World Knife and Throwing Championship (WKTC) has solidified its future in Appleton, Wisconsin, with a multi-year partnership announced for three upcoming events. The city will host the prestigious championships in 2025, 2027, and 2029, building on its successful hosting of the event in previous years.
“Appleton and the surrounding communities have embraced the axe and knife throwing community by hosting major championship events over the last few years, and it is such a joy to continue to build this relationship between throwers, fans, event organizers, and affiliated businesses,” said Matt Ten Haken, Director of Sports Marketing for the Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau. “I truly believe that the sport of axe and knife throwing will continue its incredible growth in the coming years, and we look forward to playing a small role in supporting that growth.”
