The World Axe Throwing League (WATL) has issued a critical update regarding equipment regulations for all sanctioned leagues and events. Effective immediately, Mirror Edge Customs axes are no longer permitted at any WATL-sanctioned competitions.
This decision follows a thorough investigation into the unauthorized and fraudulent use of WATL trademarks by Mirror Edge Customs. The league has discovered that Mirror Edge has been modifying, selling, and marketing axes that falsely claim to be WATL products, making misleading and deceptive claims to the community.
“Your actions constitute clear cases of trademark infringement and unfair competition,” WATL CEO Mario Zelaya wrote in a letter to Mirror Edge Customs.
